Initial presentation
This patient presented for a cosmetic consult after having the exsting bridges placed ten years ago. The bridges although still being sound functionally, were discolored, and overall quite ugly.
Over the years the metal margins had begun showing near the gumlines and missing teeth in the back had caused a collapse of the bite and shifting of the teeth in the front. The patients concerns were the size, shape, and color of the bridges and the overall look causing her to have lost the confidence to smile and in some cases she would not talk to people for fear of showing her (as she put it) ugly teeth.
This was an extensive case in which we used a number of different procedures and materials to get to the final result you see in the picture. Including four implants to replace the back teeth, porcelain crowns for the upper teeth, one bridge, and porcelain veneers for the lower front teeth.
The patient was extremely pleased with the result, and hasn't stopped smiling since. She says that the new smile has given her a new confidence that has resulted in her being more outgoing and in return people being more friendly towards her.
If you think you have lost hope in your smile, let us take a look and see if we can help acheive your cosmetic goals.

Smile Makeover
Makeover Case
This patient is a gentleman in the sales business and had been dissatisfied with his smile for a long time, but didn't think he could do anything about it.
He came to us from a refferal by a friend of his that had some veneers done to enhance his smile. He was impressed with the results and thought he would come in for a consult. He didn't have any cavities and his gums were in reasonably good health. He did have a history of grinding his teeth are night, which had resulted in severly worn down, chipped and cracked teeth. He was also not happy with the color of his teeth.
We restored his teeth, with veneers in the front and crowns in the back to suppourt his new bite. We also made him a night guard to prevent damage to his teeth when he grinds them at night.
Since having his smile makeover he tells us that his confidence has increased so much that his sales have been higher than ever and he has stopped grinding his teeth.

Veneers
This patient was dissatisfied with her "gummy smile" and the color of her teeth. Her teeth were healthy and she did not have any extreme wearing of the teeth, but she just wanted the beautiful smile she had always dreamed of. So we decided to do a conservative approach, with some cosmetic surgery for the gums to get rid of the gummy smile and then some minimal prep veneers on the front six teeth. You can see that even with this conservative approach her result was quite dramatic.

Veneers
This pt. was unhappy with the color of his teeth and with the misalignment of the upper and lower teeth. We treated him with veneers on the front six teeth on both upper and lower. He wanted hollywood white, so thats what we gave him. We cater to our patients wants and needs, whatever that might be.
Veneers
This patent was unhappy with the spaces in between her teeth. She had tried braces twice but was not able to close the space due to the narrow teeth on the top. We restored the smile with no-prep veneers on the front six teeth. We were able to complete treatment in two short visits with no injections and no pain.

Dental Implants
This patient was missing this tooth since birth she had braces on in her teen years and then she had a maryland bridge placed to restore the space. The bridge worked well for a few years but was always coming out. It also was not very well matched to the other teeth.
We placed one implant in the area of the missing tooth and restored the area with a single porcelain crown. The patient was so pleased to finally not have worry about the tooth coming out at an important moment. She was also very happy to finally be able to floss in between the teeth and, none of her friends could tell which tooth the implant was.

Bonding/White Filling
This is one of the simplest things to do to enhance your smile. Removal of amalgam/silver fillings and replacement with natural tooth colored fillings. Gets rid of those dark ugly looking fillings and replaces them with natural looking bonded fillings that actually strengthen your teeth.
